If you like trains....you'll be delighted. The hotel is sitting across from a major rail road tracks and at a crossing which of course has the trains blow their horns everytime they go by. And they do about every 1 1/2 hour (all night). If the train is heavy you will feel it in your bed. And to top it off.....this Super 8 motel DOES NOT give you rewards on the Wyndham program.
Your staff is fantastic!! I found it very quiet (except for the train) almost felt like I was the only person there.
No hot tub.
Very economical. Good location in relation to access to Trinity Western University.
Public areas could use a little refurbishing. Stains on hall carpet. The nearby train woke me twice the first night. No lamps in room, just nasty flourescent light above the bed.
Clean and comfortable. Comfortable bed and pillows. Very quiet considering the road and train line.
The train tracks within 50 yards of our room. The train whistled crossing the road about every hour all night. As the hotel was not full it would have been appreciated to have been located in a quieter location of the hotel.
Very clean, friendly, couteous and helpful staff. Pet friendly.
The outside grounds and parking area were very unkept. There was garbage everywhere. I damaged my vehicle when I drove over an unused concrete parking lot light base that should be removed or marked.
breakfast and a killer bathroom
Entrance was not inviting, dead potted planters, rickety wooden steps and deck
I liked the discrete parking area, the nice unquestioning staff, and the clean room.
Breakfast was just okay, not a hot one like they advertised...they were out off orange juice too.
The staff were excellent. Really can't say enough good about them. Very helpful and accommodating. They were wonderful! Some of the best hotel staff we have experienced. The rooms very clean and roomy! It was a fantastic place to stay at a good cost!
The rooms were very nice and well laid out. The breakfast area was very nice and clean and had a good selection.
The location was on #10 hwy which is very busy and difficult to get out of if turning west and the train track was across the street. You could not walk anywhere for dining or shopping as the hotel is out of the way. It did not have a pool which would have been nice as it was very hot while I was there.
We found the staff to be very friendly and accomodating. We enjoyed waking up to a healthy variety of breakfast foods if we chose to take in the morning breakfast. When the breakfast room was full, we were offered a very comfortable dinning room. We loved our stay at Super 8 Langley and hope to stay there again in the future.
In our 108 room the blow drier and coffee perculator needs replacing. The blow drier didn't work and the purculator brewed very weak coffee. However, we were with the person in room 109 so we used their's. It all worked out.
We arrived late from Vancouver Island and had to be up very, very early for the Ride-for-Cancer event, your night manager was extremely helpful, considerate and accomodating. Your rooms were very affordable, particularly as we only spent about five hours with you due to our late arrival and early departure. The room was clean and comfortable.
Cl;ean, neat, front counter personnel were efficient and friendly, going out of their way to have coffee ready early for us
Bed was a bit hard but not uncomfortable
Location and affordable
Could have had more choice at the continental breakfast.
